Topic/Discussion:
The passage of the Great American Outdoors Act, PL. 116-152 (GAOA) which authorized full and permanent funding of Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), presents a number of exciting opportunities for the Department of the Interior and the bureaus leading these important programs. DOI is hosting two listening sessions in October with Tribal Leaders on LWCF. Attached is the letter that was sent to Tribal Leaders and the LWCF facts sheet that was provided with letter. Below are the links to register for the sessions. We hope that you or others from your organization will be able to join the LWCF listening sessions.
